The goal of the Information Technology Department is to meet the needs of computer users employed by the County and to keep the Courthouse and Sheriff's computer networks operating cost-effectively and efficiently.
The department is responsible for purchasing and maintaining the computer network. In addition to hardware, this includes Internet access, remote access, e-mail, web site development and other projects.
Fremont County is a member of the National Association of County Information Technology Administrators.
